Pillar 2: Manufacturing Process Reliability

The Pillar 2 Course, Manufacturing Process Reliability, is a four-module series that prepares learners to apply proven, current methods and new-data-driven analytical technologies to support the optimum manufacturing process. The course covers key concepts such as documenting flow, managing risk, and incorporating standardized procedures. Each module is divided into topic areas, accompanied by knowledge checks designed to assess understanding and comprehension.

Module 1 - Understanding Operating Procedures

Module 2 - Process Improvement Techniques

In Module 2, you will learn how to apply process analysis and improvement techniques by defining process elements, selecting appropriate measurement tools, and setting TQM objectives. Additionally, you will develop the skills to identify and address the root causes of failures and implement continuous improvement methodologies.

Module 3 - Change Management

In Module 3, you will learn to identify the components of an effective change management program including maintenance, reliability, operations, and ‎engineering. ‎ Additionally, you will learn to describe the concepts that support an effective change management process ‎within a manufacturing environment while applying the standard change management tools (MOC, PSM, MCR, MCO) within a ‎manufacturing environment. ‎

Module 4 - Maintain Processes
